Abstract: This paper describes a design scheme of analog receiver for a centimeter-band radioheliograph in China. We calculate two key technical characteristics of system performance-signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range-according to the specifications of the chosen components. Our analysis shows the design satisfies the requirements on radioheliograph system performance.
