费米耀变体峰值参量、康普顿主导、谱指数之间相关性的研究

The Peak Information, the Compton Dominance, the Spectral Index Diagram, and the Correlations for Fermi Blazars

  • 摘要: 使用一个具有(准)同时性宽带能谱数据的Fermi耀变体样本,对其进行同步和逆康普顿峰峰值参量、康普顿主导以及高能谱指数等参量之间的相关性分析,以获得耀变体整体和子类相关性之间差异的来源、耀变体喷流中粒子冷却的主导机制和电子能谱形状等方面的解释。分析结果表明,耀变体的整体相关性至少有部分来自平谱射电类星体和蝎虎天体由于物理性质不同而在参数平面上具有不同分布区域这一特性贡献,因此针对两个子类的相关性分析是必需的。蝎虎天体为快冷却机制,谱指数图的结果支持对数抛物线形状的电子能谱。

     

    Abstract: In this paper, to study the physical properties of blazars, we collect a large sample of Fermi blazars with (quasi) simultaneous data and well fitted spectral energy distribution. We analyze five correlations for the whole sample, the FSRQs only and the BL Lacs only, respectively. Our main results are as follows. (1) We find that there are significant anti-correlations between the synchrotron peak frequency and the synchrotron peak luminosity, between the inverse Compton peak frequency and the inverse Compton peak luminosity, between the synchrotron peak frequency and the bolometric luminosity for the whole sample, but no correlations for FSRQs and BL Lacs. There are significant anti-correlations between the synchrotron peak frequency and the Compton Dominance for the whole sample and BL Lacs, but no correlation for FSRQs. There are significant anti-correlations between the inverse Compton peak frequency and gamma-ray spectral index for the whole sample, the FSRQs only and the BL Lacs only, respectively. (2) One cannot exclude the possibility that the above correlations for the whole sample are affected by the difference in distribution of FSRQs and BL Lacs in the parametric plane. (3) We suggest that the significant anti-correlation between the synchrotron peak frequency and the Compton Dominance for BL Lacs may provide an evidence for a fast-cooling emission mechanism for BL Lacs. (4) The anti-correlations between the inverse Compton peak frequency and gamma-ray spectral index provide an observational information to the leptonic jet emission model with a log-parabolic shaped electro energy distribution (EED).
