Abstract
With the development of space astronomy technology, small astronomy satellites with lightweight become the research focus in the field of aerospace. As the heart of an astronomical satellite, it is very imperative for the hydrogen maser lasers to be lightweight. At present, the adsorption pump used in hydrogen atomic clock is titanium porous material, and it has problems such as low hydrogen capacity, large volume and high activation temperature, which increases the weight of hydrogen maser lasers. In this paper, The Zr-V-Fe-Cr hydrogen-absorbing alloy with large hydrogen storage capacity are studied. The results show that the hydrogen storage capacity of the new alloy is higher than that of Ti, and the hydrogen absorption performance can meet the requirements of use. It provides a new option for the lightweight hydrogen source system of the hydrogen atomic clock, and is expected to be used in the next generation of lightweight hydrogen atomic clocks.
