The Measurement of the Water Vapor at the Yunnan Observatory

  • The Model IRA-935 instrument is used to measure the water vapor at the Yunnan Observatory. The correlation betweeen data from the IRA-935 and from the sounding test is presented with tile correlation coefficient of 0.942 and the measuring error under 5%. It is shown that the average water vapor at the Yunnan observatory is 24.96mm in rainy season and 10.03mm in dry season.
