The Antenna Gain Determination of Radio Telescope

The measurement methods for the antenna gain of radio telescope are summarized in this paper. The "transition method" with theoretical gain of a standard cone horn and the "radio astronomy methed"using radio sources with given flux as calibrators are presented. Based on these methods the calibration result and accuracy of the ant enna gain are also given for the radio telescope at Yunnan Observatory.
