  • A testing is given in this paper for the polarization analyzer which is mounted on the solar spectral telescope of Yunnan Observatory. The test is carried out by using the 40 cm horizontal solar spectrograph at Yunnan Observatory. Four profiles of stokes parameters(I、Q、U、V)are obtained for the sunspot appeared in the active region YN69 on solar disk on June 22, 1995. These profiles are compared with those computed theoretically and both of them are identical in features although a correction of polarization produced by the spectrograph is not performed. It is shown that the polarization analyzer is desirable and four stokes profiles of a sunspot are available with the solar spectral telescope.
