Measurement Method and Preliminary Result of the Spectral Resolution for the Solar Spectral Telescope

A measurement method of spectral resolution is given in this paper for the Vacuum So-lar Spectral Telescope(VSST)at Yunnan Observatory. A preliminary result measured is ob-tained photographically. The value obtained is much less than that to be able to reach for the VSST. The reasons of making the big difference are discussed. The most important reason is that the optical system of the VSST is at present out of a normal state.
