The Temperature Pulsation Measurement System and the Preliminary Observation at the Gaomeigu station

In order to investigate the turbulence distribution at the ground-layer atmosphere and provide the reliable data for determination of the site location and the dome height, an atmo-spheric temparature measurement system has successfully installed at the Gaomeigu station of Yunnan Observatory in May, 1997. Full discription of the system including the detained technical specification and observation procedure is presented in this paper. The preliminary observation results during the first run of 12 days are also briefly discussed.
