Abstract
For evaluating the dome seeing of the 2.4m telescope at Lijiang of the Yunnan Observatory,an instrument is designed to measure temperature, air pressure, and atmospheric temperature fluctuations in an astronomical dome. The distribution of turbulence intensity in the dome affecting seeing can be obtained from the temperature data collected by some sensors set in the light path of the telescope. The basic principle and circuit/software design are described in this paper. In addition, the calibration and on-site test results are presented.
