The Storage and Management of the Scientific Data for Chinese Lunar Exploration Project

Beginning with explaining the data types and formats for products, we discuss in this paper the management method of the scientific data for Chinese Lunar Exploration Project. The hardware/software environment for the data storage is illustrated by analyzing the data storage architecture and software architecture. The reliability of data storage is by analyzing the data storage and backup strategy. These methods of storage and management will guarantee the better management of the data and also provide users retrieval of and access to the data.
