On the Intensity Method for Measuring Waveplate Phase Decay
Based on Mueller Matrices, a function for the phase decay of the waveplate with intensity is obtained.From it all intensity methods used now can be classified as four categories. The basic principle of these four categories is given and the measurment errors are also analyzed. The advantages and disadvantages of these methods are also discussed.
