The Application of the Finite Element Method on Astronomical Equipments Design
The huge amount of computations are often needed in the astronomy instrument desigh, and the majority of equations used are nonlinear.The finite element analysis is presented in this paper for the spectral tube of the Solar Infrared Telescope of Yunnan Observatory.
