Abstract
The ancient references recorded that the two suggest ions for the calendar existed in the Emperor Yao time. It is unrealist ic for the officer Xihe to observe the four middle transit stars at the beginning of the evening to determine the seasons. In addition, the suggestion of the leap month in the certain year being in the lunar calendar by him is also not realistic. The variations of the azimuths for the sunrise and sunset observed by him "created 10 days", that is, created the ten-month solar calendar which is just realistic. The result in the paper by LI Wei-bao et al. (2007) has also be confirmed. This paper supplements the suggestion in the paper ment ioned above and the two papers could be the sisterly papers.
