The Application of CLEAN Algorithm to Astronomical Image Reconstruction Working in Spatial Domain

  • CLEAN algorithm is used to the deconvolution process of astronomical image reconstruction method:Iterative Shift-and-Add working in spatial domain,owing to it workes in spatial domain too,so that the traditional method in which the images must be transformed into the Fourier spatial freqency domain and then to do deconvolute with division is avoided.Therefore the need that an object image can be recovered only in spatial domain is satisfied,and it makes the Iterative Shift-and-Add method become more simple.Some good image reconstruction results were got by the technique in the experiments on astronomical observation.
