Kinematic Model of the Milky Way

On the basis of stellar radial and transverse veloctites,a three dimensional kinematic model has been established for analyzing the local kinematics of the Galaxy in the solar neighbourhood.The relative equations has been derived to solve for 12 kinematic parameters:three components of solar motion,three components of rotation,three components of the shear motion,and three components of Galactic contraction or expansion.
