The Study of Be/X-ray Binary Envelope

  • Be stars are a kind of special early stars, and Be/X-ray stars are a kind of special massive X-ray binaries. In every wave-band,their characteristics are clearly different from the B spectral type stars. Thus, astronomers put much attention on them for a long time. First, the emission lines in optical band are a challenge to the classical stellar atmosphere theory;second,it is important to study the envelopes of Be stars,as it is also a breakthrough to study envelopes of prototype stars and other early type stars;third,it may study the relation of the existence of Be stars with stellar magnetic fields in the interstellar median; At last,it is important to study models of the binary evolution. With the advance of astronomy,we have deeper understanding of Be stars, and new models are developed. What we studied includes the envelopes of Be stars, the nature of the stellar wind, formation mechanism and Be/X-ray binary material interaction etc. This paper includes five chapters, the first chapter mainly introduces the history of Be stars and Be/X-ray binary;the second chapter introduces observational results of Be stars in every wave-band;the third introduces the observational results of Be/X-ray binary;the fourth introduces the main models of Be stars and Be/X-ray binaries;the fifth chapter introduces the spectral observations of the Be/X-ray binarines,X Per/4U0352+30,and gives an explanation by using one-armed disk oscillation model.
