Observation of the Climate Data for the Boundary Layer of the Astronomical Seeing

Abstract
The regular Pattern Of the CT2 is analysed in this Paper according to the primary Observations at the Xinglong Station, Beijing Astronomical Observatory during Oct.-Dec.1994. It is shown that the variation range of the instantaneous CT2 in the surface layer is very large which can reach over one ceder of magnitude within several seconds and tWo Older Of magnitude within several minutes. It is frequntly found that the average CT2 variations in 3 minutes at clear nights are over two older of magnitude. The variation range of the integrated CT2 in the boundary layer is rather small, however it can nab one older Of magnitude at all night. At the qUiescent wind condition the temperature inversion at the summit is developed rapidly, and the integrated also CT2 rapidly becomes large that is harmful for the star image quality. The climate data for the boundary layer of the astronomical seeing can be obtained with the monitoring the wind condition, determination of CT2 or r0 by using the sound radar and the humidity measuremout.
