Abstract
Spectral line observation plays an important role in astronomy. High spectral resolution can bring much convenience to observers in exploring planet details. But for high-frequency observation, it is very difficult for the traditional sampling method to achieve high spectral resolution. In this article, a new method has been proposed. Using high performance integrated circuit to observe radio astronomy signal in centimeter-decimeter spectral line, this method overcomes those disadvantages of its traditional counterpart and achieves a higher spectral resolution with a lower sampling bandwidth. It consists of a complete set of collection, processing and storage solutions. Firstly, high-frequency signal is processed by the analog down converter, then the low-frequency signal is transmitted to the upper computer software for FFT and integral processing; finally, the signal is saved in file format as required. In this platform, parameters for data collection are given by the observer through upper computer software.
