On the Design Problems of the Receiver System of a Metre Wave Aperture Synthesis Radio Telescope

A 12×16 apsrture syntlesis radio telescope of 232Mc/s frequency is being developed at Peking Observatory. In this paper, the general project design for ito receiver system is given, which includes the following analysis, the scheme structure, the performance indices, the receiver sensitiuity, the gain distribution, the selectivity and anti-interference consideration, the phase-frequency response and delay compensation, the fringe tracking and phase error etc.
