Timing Sequence Control Based on KD*P Polarization Modulation and the Image Synchronization Acquisition for Different Structure of Optical Path

  • In order to meet the requirements of image acquisition of the high resolution magnetograph installed at 1 m new vacuum solar telescope, the timing sequence control system based on KD*P polarization modulation and image synchronization acquisition for different structure of optical path is developed and depicted in this paper. The scientific requirements of the polarimetric characteristics of KD*P, the rolling exposure mode of sCMOS camera and its external trigger on the control system are given in section 1. The synchronization-control timing sequence is designed and the workflows of the system with different parameters are given in section 2. Then parameters of the timing sequence are analysed and their fluctuation are carefully measured and analysed statistically. The constraints on the timing sequence of the system are then defined. The implementation and the test result of different workflows are given in the final part and the result shows the design of the system can meet the given requirements on the accuracy of the synchronised acquisition.
