Abstract
The lunar probe launched recently in China carries a scientific load of the panoramic camera, which is responsible for the important task of acquiring lunar surface image of the landing area of the inspector. The two panoramic cameras in the lunar probe use binocular stereo imaging and the relative position and pose between cameras remain unchanged during the imaging process. After consulting several similar cases in the fields of earth surveying and mapping and computer vision, an improved adjustment model is used. Test results show that the new model can eliminate the deviation of relative position and attitude between different stereo pairs and makes the adjustment results more reliable. In conclusion, the new adjustment algorithm can provide support for photogrammetric processing of lunar panoramic camera image data in lunar exploration missions in China.
