Abstract
In this paper the synthetic solar activity predictions from 1978 to 1980 are analysed. The results show that the short-term solar activity forecasts were comparatively correct in the periods of twice launching into space the satellites of our country from 1978 to 1979 and of launching a carrier rocket in to the region of the Pacific Ocean in 1980.In this three years, the solar activity forecasts of the first half of a month were linearly correlated with the reality and rather reliable in most periods of time, so they may be kept for reference to the trend of middle-term solar activity. But the correlations between the forecasts of the second half of a month and the reality were not so close.
