The Distribution of the Spiral Spots on the solar Disk

Abstract
In this paper we present the distribution of the penumbral patterns of the spiral spots on the north and south hemispheres of the solar disk in the period between March 1970 and December 1978. The distribution reveals that there is some influence of different rotations upon the formation of the penumbral spiral patterns. We define that a vertical vector is the horizontal fragment of the twisted sunspot magnetic tube which has already emerged above the photosphere, and that the fragment is connecting itself with the preceding and the following of a bipolar sunspot group separately. Then we come to a conclusion that the vertical vectors in most spiral groups generally direct towards the east or the west in a certain period, and these vectors probably change their direction periodically. The reason causing the conclusion has not yet been known.
