The Sunspot Activity During SMY

In this paper the monthly and the annual average of the sunspot number from 1979 to 1980 are given, the data are based on the information of the sunspot drawing observations at the Observatory of Beijing Planetarium, and the space-time distribution of the sunspot activity region during SMY is described briefly. The active characteristics of some great sunspot groups are also shown.
