Some Dynamical Effects of a Sunspot Magnetic Flux Ring

More Information
  • Published Date: December 30, 1981
  • As soon as a magnetic flux ring is formed around the surface of the rising fluid mass among the toroidal magnetic field in the solar convection zone (Zhou Daoqi, 1981), along with it the ampere's force is formed. It may be seen that the contraction, deformation and breakdown of the fluid mass take place under the effects of the ampere's force (magnetic ring force). On the basis of its dynarnical effects, we attempt to explain the cause of the "σ-configuration" and "A-Configuration" sunspot grounps, the phenomena of the filaments and material falling down above the sunspot. The dynamical effects of the sunspot magnetic flux ring is the main reason for the magnetic fluid motion above AR. The magnetic fluid motion is characterized by having two vertical circulation streams on both sides of the symmetrical plane which is the zero plane of the longitudinal magnetic field (B11=o).
