The Improvements of the Measuring Method of the Flare Data Obtained at Yunnan Observatory

Using this improved method, one can directly measure the projected solar image by means of the rectangular coordinates, calculate and print the results needed with a microcomputer. With the method, the traditional working processess of measurement and calculation can be simplified, much time and labour can be saved, and there will be a decrease in errors. It is not restricted by the variations in the solar radius and may apply to the optical systems which supply the satisfactory formation of images.
