Abstract

A new type design of the driver which is used to make the movable window of an astrodome made of glass fibre reinforced plastic slide and open back and forth is introduced in this paper. Wire ropes are used to pull the window open. In the course of the adjustment some problems which were unexpected before the design are descovered and solved. The driver ts reliable and easy to operate.
