The Test Results of the Azimuth Equations Absolutely Determined with a Refitted Transit Instrument

The preliminary test observations for determining azimuth equations with a refitted transit instrument, which may be used to observe the stars in the meridian and prime directions, are given in this present article.The method of absolutely determining the azimuth equations of the instrument by means of three times recorded when a star passes across the meridian and prime directions of the instrument has proved to be feasible.
