On the Method of the Determination of the Correction to the Circle Divison

The errors of the circle of a meridian circle will immediately affect the precision in detemining celestial bodies' declinations.This article will discuss the sources of the circled errors and briefly describe the methods used to determine division errors by the astronomers.Here we advance a method to determine division errors of the circle with fixing angular distance of the reading microscopes.The advantage to use the method is that it does not need to change an gular distance of the reading microscopes during the determining division errors of the circle,and would determine the correcting values to all diameters for l0 hours.
