Technigue And Calculation for the Improvement of the transmission System in the Four-Axis Telescope

The improvement of the four-axis telescope is introduced in this paper. In order to meet the requiremnet of tracking Halley's Comet the transmission systems of the first and the third axes are modified. The ratio of transmission is determined. The intensity of the worm gear and the power of the motor are also calculated.
