  • The automatic tracking camera with four axes is used to track Halley's Comet along a small circle. It is required to predict the coordinates of the pole of the small circle (Ap, Hp), the latitude of the small circle δi0, the longitude of the orbit αi0 and the tracking rate wi0. In this paper, the prediction data of Halley's Comet in every six hours are transformed from the equatorial coordinate system (α, δ,t), of IHW into the coodinate system of our instrument (δi0, αi0, ωi0), The diagram of the calculation program is given as well.
