The Astronomical Background and Scheme of Making a Digital Radiospectrometer with High Speed and Large Capasity

The necessity of high accuracy observation becomes urgent with deep development of solar radio theory.New standard of resolution in time and frequency is required.We made a design,in which the instrument may achieve good performance under the condition of limited funds.The features are as following:spectral resolution of 250 kHz and time resolution of 10 ms.In order to get good performance-price ratio,we adopted a microcomputer of ALTOS type.Thus some peculiar difficulties will need to be overcome.The purpose of this paper is to describe the astronomical background and scheme of making the instrument.
