  • In this paper, the effect of the phase transition in a compact star is discussed,with the results showing that the Oppenheimer-Volkoff equation will be revised by the phase transition in the neighbourhood of its surface and the new singularity of the gauge will be produced. Therefore, the boundary layer should be established in the neighourhood of the phase transition suface.
