The Optimum Distribution of the Retroreflectors for the Determination of the Physical Libration of the Moon

The optimum distribution of the retroreflectors on the surface of the Moon for the determination of the physical libration of the Moon by LLR is presented in this paper. The precision of determining physical libration using different combinations of the present retroreflectors is also estimated. If the highest precision will be obtained authors recognize that the present retroreflectors will be moved to a suitable place or put a new one on the lunar surface in the future.
