THE SUNSPOT GROUP No.166 AND FLARES IN IT

More Information
  • Published Date: October 30, 1989
  • A sunspot group came into the visible disk of the sun on June 25, 1988. The number of it in CSGD was 166(number in SGD.l was NOAA 5060). Its location was at S20°L5°. Its largest area was 3000 on 29th June. It went out disk of the sun on 8th July. One proton flare, thirteen X-ray(M,X) bursts, five optical flares with Ⅰ>, twelve optical flares(Ⅰ=1), ninety—one optical subflares and fourteen SWF(Ⅰ>) were produced during the existence of this sunspot group[1, 2, 3].
