PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS OF EVENT ON 20 FEBRUARY, 1988

In this paper we analyse the event of 20 Feb., 1988. and present that a new sunspot group emerged in the western of the solar disk with characteristics of fast evolution, converse polarity, anomalous arrangement of sunspot and rapidly increased SVC with type A1 spectrum etc., which may be the forecasting factors for occuring of some flare events.
