Abstract
As the means of routine flare patrol, the signals transmitted from the Y-station of Loran-C north-west pacific chain were received and the oncereflected component of the sky-wave of the signals were measured at Shanxi Astronomical Observatory, Lintong in 1988. The carrier frequency of the transmitted singals is 100 KHz and the arc distance between the transmitting point(26°36'N, 128°09'E, Gesashi Okinawajapan) and the receiving point(34°22'N, 109°13'E, Lintong, China) is 2006.223 Km. Both the transmitting system and the receiving system are controlled by the standard frequency with the high accuracy of better than 2*10-13. The observations are conducted 24 hours per day.
