  • The relationships between solar activity and climate and weather is a very important but one of the most disputed problem, on which a lot of studies have been made. Early researches concentrated on the statistical analysis of the correlation between the solar activities and the changes of climate and weather. Some researchers indicated that some of droughts and floods are relating to solar activity. Although this method is simple, the results are rather dispersed.Because of the complex factors controling the changes of climate and weather, it is difficult to make conclusions exactly with the simple statistical correlation analysis. In fact, this problem needs, on one hand, more facts, that is singificant historical data and the solar and terrestrial comprehensive measurements, on the other hand, more thorough discussions of related physical mechanisms and numerical models. In this paper the present state of the problem is reviewed, then some points of view will be submitted.
