GEOMAGNETIC PULSATION OBSERVED AT VERY LOW LATITUDE DURING SOLAR ENERGETIC EVENTS

  • Geomagnetic pulsations were first observed at the Zhanxian station(the geographic longitude=109°8'E, the geographic latitude=19°3l'N, L 1.025, 20km away from the coast) in Hainan Province, China, during the period from Nov.20 to Dec.20, 1988. Energetic eventsl in solar active regions occurred for Dec.12-25, 1988. The intent of this brief report is to provide some data on the ground geomagnetic pulsation at the very low latitude during solar energetic events.
