The solar-terrestrial sciences studies not only the processes in the regions ofsolar-terrestrial system such as the solar convection region and atmosphere, theinterplanetary space, the earth megnetosphere and ionosphere, the earth atmosphere andsurface, but emphasyzes the coupling processes between the regions, that is the globalcharacters of the solar-terrestrial system.
