THE PERIODICITY OF FLARE OCCURRENCE IN EVOLUTION OF AR5395(ABSTRACT)

  • Since the beganning of the routine measurement of solar X-ray flares in 1974, activeregion 5395 was the most prolific X-ray flare producer. During the disk transit ofAR5395 about 12-13 days, a total of 11 class X and 48 class M flares was observed.Taken an average, about one class X flare per day was produced.
