Abstract
The variations of short-term activity, such as solar flares, Forbush decreases ofgalactic cosmic rays, magnetic storms, etc, may affect the lower atmosphere. Especial, changs of galactic cosmic rays as modulated by solar wind induced variations in thetroposphere and lower stratosphere. A strong Forbush decreas of GCR occurred on March, 1989.
