AVERAGE N(h) PROFILES DEDUCED FROM DIGISONDE DATA-DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPOSED METHOD
A method to deduce average N(h) profiles from digisonde data is proposed in this paper. Taking the full advantage of digitization of the data, the average profiles are strictly defined in this method. The monthly mean N(h) profiles deduced from digisonde data can provide a good data base for comparisons with any N(h) predictions.
