NONLINEAR IONOSPHERIC RESPONSE TO THE ATMOSPHERIC GRAVITY WAVES
The equation which describes nonlinear interaction between the ionospheric and the atmospheric gravity wave in. the F region is solved. It is found that due to the nonlinearity, the behaviours of travelling ionospheric disturbances caused by the atmospheric gravity wave are appreciably different from those predicted by earlier linear theories.
