A Model of Quasi-Open Magnetic Field Line Region

Over the bipolar sunspot in the active region,a qualitative model of quasi-open magnetic field line region Is proposed to explain the relationship betweenthe energetic electron beams in the corona and the rapid processes in solarflares.The quasi-open field line region is established between the bottom ofthe open field line and the top of the flaring loop as shown in Fig.1.
