  • A method for testing the rigidity of friction drive ot the vertical axis of the 1.2m alt-az telescope is presented and the tested results are analysed. We come to the conclusion that within the applicable range: to be heeded, the friction drive device has no internal and idling and its rigidity is sufficient.
