Diagnostics of the Twisting of the Magnetic Lines of Force in Sunspots with the Depth
In this paper we apply our diagnostics described in papers 1 and 2 to Q and U profiles of the umbra and penumbra of the sunspot of 1988 December 11 obtained with the stokesmeler at the High Altitude Observatory of the United States. It is found that there is no strong twisting of the magnetic lines of force of this spot.
