Abstract
Up to now two CCD cameras are employed with the Coude system of the 1m telescope at the Yunnan Observatory. One of them is the No.1 CCD system placed at the il900 focus and another is the newly developed thick CCD spectral system. These CCD systems extend the observable range of the telescope to the infrared wave band. In this paper, the identifications of the standard spectra from 7000 Å to 11700 Å produced by a comparison light source, a Fe-Ar hollow-cathode lamp, are given, A grating angualar formula is determined with the thick CCD system. In addition, some problems, such as the synthetical instrument efficiency, the precision of the grating location and the use of spectra! filters, are also discussed.
