Abstract
The servosystems of a solar radio telescope at the Yunnan Observatory are transformed and renewed by using the automatic control techniques and then they may be used to track the Sun automatically. The tracking accuracy can be obtained from the measurements of the HPBW of the antenna and of the degree of deviation of the tracking, with the error in eight hours being less than 0°.01, which can meet the needs for the tracking. The formula for calculating the calibration accurary is improved and the tested value of the automatic calibration system of the solar radio telescope is recalculated after searching for the reasons for producing the observation error theoretically, thereby making a great improvement on the observational accuracy.
