Preliminary Analyses of the Relationship Betweenthe Changes of L.O.D and Chinese Earthquakes ofMagnitude 8.0 in the Twentieth Century
The preliminary analyses of the relationship between the changes of the length of day(L.O.D) and the Chinese earthquakes of magnitude 8.0 in the Twentieth century are given in this paper. The conversion formula between the length of day and the Earth's rotation rate is introduced and a method for the normalization of data is proposed.
